Week of shoes!

I declare this week of shoes! With as much excitement in my voice as you can imagine! It began with the most awesome pair of size 10 boots being sold to our store, Plato's Closet (in case you aren't up on my employment.... I currently have 3 jobs so it's completely understandable.) I try to control my impulse buys, so I left the boots on the shelf and went home for the night. I thought about them a lot, to the point that the next day I drove to the store to buy the boots to cure my anxiety. Thank the heavens they weren't sold yet, so now they are mine... all mine. And I couldn't be happier!! :)

Sweet collage I made of the boots (for Instagram), can we say kinda obsessed! I just love how they're a combat boot/work boot combo with frills. They were quite the hit with my 2 year old little brother as well, he's a boot fanatic. With my discount, I walked out spending $17.50 on these beautiful boots!

Then this morning I woke up early to be my mom's partner in crime! We hit several garage sales, but our first stop was my luckiest! To my surprise there were about 20 size 10 pairs of shoes ranging from .25 ¢  to $1.00 .... and about half of these had my name written all over them. Between this one and the following 3 or 4 garage sales, I picked up about 10 pairs of shoes for less than $5. Not too shabby, if you ask me!

Summer's Gone... many more to come!

Yesterday was officially the first day of Autumn. Being a summer lover the end of Summer is always tough to grasp. Lately, it's been chilly here in Michigan so I've been wearing pants a lot more than I'd like to. I love finding the good in all things, on a positive note it is football season!! I was able to go to my first Michigan State University football game yesterday, GO GREEN! (Note the rainbow over the scoreboard, right before the rain started.)

I picked up this MSU hoodie earlier in the week at Plato's Closet, where I'm currently working. My excellent customer service earned me 100 points and I was awarded a $25 store gift card. With my employee discount I scored this awesome Spartan gear for only $5.14!

I'd like to introduce myself

Hi, my names Cassondra and I love my closet. In order to love my closet though, I have to love the things I put in it. Before I can love what I put in my closet, I have to love the price I'm paying. I love shopping just as much as the next girl (or maybe a little more) but like most people I have some financial limitations. I'm an optimist and I don't let these limitations limit my closet selection. A passion for fashion can be expressed with out emptying your wallet. This is how a glamor girl at heart, overcomes life's obstacles one article of clothing at a time.
