100 more points!

 

The greatest perk of working at Plato's Closet is literally getting a free outfit each month! We earn points for personal compliments, store compliments and a few other things. When we have 100 points added up, we get a $25 gift card to the store! 

I bought this Pieces scarf for $3 and these Forever 21 jeans for $6. I am in love with the pattern and colors of scarf and the color of the jeans.

Here's my little buddy, Whyatt, he was all excited when he heard we were taking pictures outside. So we had some fun as usual!!

Day of the Alive - Halloween 2012

For my Halloween costume this year, I spent under $3 and won $25 for Most Original Costume!! It was so much fun being a sugar skull for Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). My make up and hair took me 3 hours to do all by myself! 

It's about that time!

I am an artist and I love to design things. So naturally, I love painting my nails as well, riggggght! It's like I have 10 mini canvases to work with and paint. I'm a girly-girl so I've acquired lots and lots of nail polish over the years, mostly gifts from other people. Who could say no to a bottle of polish, surely not me!

A real steal!

Went to JC Penney on Saturday and got 3 dresses for only $5 each! Here's my favorite one.It's a fuchsia pink sheer overlay mullet style dress.

Side note: These definitely wouldn't be my first choice shoes to wear with this dress. I was out of town and had only 2 pairs of shoes in my suitcase. Some time's in life, we just make it work :)

Reminiscing....

I know I keep bringing it up, but I really have a hard time letting summer go..... such is life :) Bear with me while I reminisce and enjoy some pix! 

Well here is one of my favorite outfits of the summer. The most expensive piece of this ensemble is the fedora hat which was $10 from Payless. The dress was purchased at Goodwill for $3.99, the shoes are Candies from a garage sale for $3, Sunglasses $3 from Forever 21 and the earrings I've had forever.
