Eskimo Essentials

A winter adventure is never complete without a coat and boots. Since I'm not really a big fan of snow and the cold temperatures,  my winter adventures mostly consist of me running to and from the car, back indoors again. For those times, I need two of my favorite things! 

This coat has been my ultimate favorite purchase this winter. I knew I loved it from the moment I saw it hanging in the store. I also knew I had like 10 more winter coats at home. So, to justify buying another coat, I sold 2 coats to Plato's Closet and bought this coat with the money I received. This hooded striped Mossimo coat was originally $15 in Plato's Closet, but I essentially paid nothing for it because I traded my old coats in. 

My other favorite is these 3 layer fringee boots. I've wore them so much I can't read the name on the label anymore but Minnetonka makes similar boots of very high quality. 

The boots were originally $10 in Plato's Closet but with my employee discount I bought them for around $7. They are super fun and light weight too! 

These boots are made for walking.

I did my nails pretty cute on my day off and it kinda got me in the mood to do some dressing up! 

 My rings even matched my outfit too :) 

To be honest, my hair was wet and I was going outside. So I wore my hat and it happened to match perfectly! The same hat from Bedazzled By My Hat, my previous blog post.  

 I was pretty excited to wear heels, even if they were only 2.5 inches. I typically don't wear heels for the majority of the day because I'm on my feet for 5 plus hours while at work. On most days I change into heels immediately after I clock out :) 

This is a close up of the crochet neckline detail on the shirt. My sister gave me this top its from Charlotte Russe. 

The chocolate brown cardigan is Faded Glory, bought off the Walmart clearance rack for $3.

 These navy blue slacks are from H&M for $12 last spring. 

These boots are Arizona Jeans Co. from JCP for $15. I'm so obsessed with them right now! My whole outfit was centered around coordinating with these awesome boots!
